For the past 10 years Katy Peetz has been a professional chef, most notably as an award winning pastry chef at Roberta's Pizza and Blanca in Brooklyn, New York. She's done it all though-- food styling, recipe development, restaurant consulting, pop-up chef, caterer.
The more she cooks, the more her passion shifts towards real food. What is real food? It's vibrant, local, seasonal and so full of flavor that it doesn't need to be messed with. It provides abundant creativity and tastes delicious. Plant-based recipes without processed sugar have been the majority of her work for clients such as Adidas, WeWork and Grass Roots Juicery. This isn't just a career, it's fuel to live a full life.
Food is only a small part of that life. She lives to breathe, stretch and sweat with a community of all backgrounds from around the world in search of growth and awareness. This is where the yoga comes in. Katy is currently in training for her 500 hr RYT and teaches private and pop-up yoga classes. She studies under Jared McCann at Lighthouse Studio and has a decade of practice in Bikram and Vinyasa disciplines. Yoga consistently provides her with a space to learn, grow and grip life without fear and anxiety in order to find love and freedom in every moment. Even when it feels impossible. Now, she wants to share it with you.
